Muriel Ruby Minnick 2007 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Muriel Ruby Minnick, 79, Mount Pleasant, passed away April 18, 2007, in Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in New Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Foster and Susie (Smith) Corkum. Surviving are her husband, Garfield; sons, Carl (Linda), New Cumberland; Bazil (Evelyn), Bridgewater; daughter, Marilyn (Kenneth) Carver, Bridgewater; sisters, Annie Slauenwhite, Liverpool; Minnie (Marshall) Hirtle, Dublin Shore; Shirley (Douglas) Cleversey, West LaHave; Margie (Douglas) Crouse, Hebbville; Ruth Wile, Auburndale; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son, Gary and brother, Ralph. Cremation has taken place under the direction of R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Memorial service and burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care or any charity.
