    3. Mrs. Delmer E. Conrad 1964 Bridgewater Bulletin Relatives and friends were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Effie Marie, beloved wife of Delmer E. Conrad, on Tuesday afternoon, July 7, 1964, at her home at the early age of 46 years. Due to ill health she was confined to her home for a period of time which she bore with great fortitude, always cheerful and as long as health permitted, willing to help others and to assist in various other activities of church and community in time of need. A faithful wife and mother, she will be greatly missed in her home circle and by a host of relatives and friends elsewhere. A daughter of the late Enos and Flora (Rodenhizer) Bolivar of Branch LaHave, who predeceased her some years previous, her entire life was spent also in Branch LaHave. Surviving to mourn their loss are a sorrowing husband; four daughters, Marilyn (Mrs. William Bell), of Cookville; Kathryn, Vivian, and Sherry, at home; one son, David, predeceased her in infancy; one grandchild; two sisters, Viola (Mrs. Mark Simmons), Leister, Massachusetts; Florence (Mrs. Foster Lohnes), of Upper Northfield; and two brothers, Edgar and Elvard, of Branch LaHave. Funeral services were conducted by her pastor, the Rev. Donald Himmelman, on Thursday , July 9, at 2 p.m., from St. James Lutheran Church, of which she was a faithful member, always attending services until her health failed her. Hymns rendered were favourites of the deceased, "In The Garden," "In the Hour of Trial,"and "God Be With you Till we Meet Again." The organist was Mrs. Stellman Wentzell, of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, West Northfield. Pall bearers were Fred Veinot, Cecil Knox, Mervyn Mailman, Donald Dorey, Raymond Crouse, and William Whynot. Interment was in the church cemetery, Branch LaHave.
