Brittany Ann Crouse 2007 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Brittany Ann Crouse, 17, New Ross, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 18, 2007, in a motor vehicle accident on Highway 12. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of Jack and Wanda (McDow) Crouse. Brittany was a 12th. grade student of Forest Heights Community High School in Chester Grant where she competed on the school basketball team and the New Ross Senior Women's Soccer team with many of her friends. She was one of the smallest players on her team, but the mightiest. She was looking forward to graduation and her summer working with her stepdad, Peter, as a painter. For the past three years she worked for Subway in Chester. Brittany touched the lives of many people and will be dearly missed by many family and friends. Besides her parents, she is survived by sisters, Stephanie Crouse (Scott) and Alicia Crouse (Mike), both of Chester; maternal grandparents, Marilyn and Waldo McDow, New Ross; paternal grandparents, Perry and Leah Butler, Granville Ferry; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She will be missed by her special pet, Cuddles. She was predeceased by her infant brother, Shawn and paternal grandparents, Sylvia and Donald Crouse. Visitation for Brittany will be held from 7-9 p.m. today in H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, New Ross. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Aprill 21, at 2 p.m. in Christ Anglican Church, New Ross, with Rev. Leonard Bednar officiating. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Brittany's memory may be made to the IWK Health Centre, Halifax.
