OBIT # 9570 - UNKNOWN PAPER - February 1956 CROSS ROADS - The death occurred Wednesday, February 8, at her home in Cross Roads, after a lengthy illness, of Martha Jane Archibald, in her 79th year. Born in Eastville, she was a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Robinson Brown. Her entire life was spent in this vicinity and until her illness she was active in W.M.S. and other church organizations. She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Annie and Grace of Truro and Bessie of Cross Roads, and sons Harold and Earle of Cross Roads and Chester of Hanson, Mass. - also 20 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The funeral service was held from Springside United Church with Rev. L.P.Archibald officiating and was largely attended by realitives and friends. Floral offerings were beautiful, bearing silent tribute to the deceased. Pall bearers were Wallace Brown, Hugh Ellis
