Born in Port Medway, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Osborne and Ella Maude (Hiltz) Payzant. She is survived by her husband, Ira, Queens Manor, Liverpool; daughters, Connie (Fred) Hynick, Port Medway; Frances (Merrill) Anthony ,Charleston; Betty (Byron) Whynacht, Port Medway; son, Ricky (JoAnne), Port Medway; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Diane Horsley; sister, Dorothy. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday, August 8, in Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool. A funeral service will take place 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 9, in Port Medway Baptist Church, Rev. Douglas Porter will be officiating. A committal will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Port Medway. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Port Medway Baptist Church, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Atlantic Division or Canadian Cancer Society.
