Verna L. Feindel 2007 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Verna L. Feindel - 1912-2007, age 94, of Jolicure, New Brunswick, formerly of Lunenburg/Northwest, passed away peacefully in Sackville Memorial Hospital, Sackville, on Monday, March 12, 2007. Born in Northwest, she was a daughter of the late William and Pearl (Rafuse) Veneau. She will be sadly missed by son, Wayne, Dorchester, New Brunswick; grandchildren, Kirk, Amanda, Kara, and Gillianne; great-grandchildren, Ezra, Janaea, and Naiya; relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Carroll and was the last surviving member of a family of nine. RCAF stations Goose Bay, Greenwood, Moncton, and Downsview, enriched a vibrant life of dinner parties, community service, and political critique. A staunch belief in God, church and family were her foundation. "So keep one little dream before you. It needn't be big nor bold. Keep one little dream before you and you shall never grow old." Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, Sackville where visitation took place in the funeral home on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will take place in Trinity Anglican Church, Dorchester, today at 10 a.m., Father Kevin Stockall officiating. Upon completion of the services in New Brunswick, Verna will travel home to Lunenburg where visitation will take place in Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg, today from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will take place in St. John's Anglican Church on Thursday, March 15, at 11 a.m., Rev. Barbara Minard officiating. Burial will take place in Hillcrest Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation may do so to Trinity Anglican Church Building Fund, Canadian Cancer Society, New Brunswick Division, New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice.
