Edward Charles Zwicker 2010 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Edward Charles Zwicker passed away March 3, 2010, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital, following a short illness with cancer. Born January 22, 1963, in Shelburne, he was the son of the late Hugh and Elsie (Nickerson) Zwicker. Charles worked at numerous jobs over the years. He greatly enjoyed the years he worked as a fisherman, serving with the crews on various sword-fishing and lobster boats. Later he trained as a carpenter and worked as a boat builder. He graduated with his high school diploma in 2009 from the NSCC Burridge Campus, excelling in Math and Physics. Charles is survived by his beloved daughter, Jennifer and adopted son, Andrew, both of Wood's Harbour; his older brother, Donald of Amherst; and his twin brother, Hugh (David Coverly), of Ottawa. He had many wonderful friends over the years in Shelburne, Wood's Harbour, and Yarmouth. Charles especially appreciated his friendships with Marie and Melvin, Tammy, Robert, Lorne, and Abel, who were a great hep to him during his illness. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Yarmouth. There will be no visitation or service at Charles' request. There will be a graveside service later in the summer in Upper Sandy Point Cemetery. Details will be published later.
