Donald E. Hirtle 2007 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Donald E. Hirtle, 75, formerly of Martin's Point, died on Tuesday, February 6, 2007, in Shoreham Village Home in Chester. Born in Oakland, he was a son of the late Russell and Esther (Hiltz) Hirtle. Donald is survived by his daughters, Barbara, Timberlea; Christine, Regina, and Leisa, Virginia, United States; son, Tony (Sheila), East River; grandchildren, Nicholas, Rebecca, Ethan, and Courtney; sisters, Dorothy, Gloria, and Joyce; brothers, Stewart, Douglas, and Russell. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Agnes and brother, Aubrey. A memorial service for family and friends will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Davis Funeral Home, Chester, Rev. Robert Brush officiating. Burial to follow in Western Shore Cemetery. No flowers by request of the family. Donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at Shoreham Village Home.
