Ada Georgina Little 2003 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Friday, May 9, 2003. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Ada Georgina Little, 87, passed away peacefully in Shoreham Village Home for Special Care, Chester, May 7, 2003. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Annie Nita (Hiltz) and George Hutt, Marriott's Cove. During her lifetime she enjoyed travelling with her first husband, knitting, needlepoint, picnics, bingo, card games, dancing, singsongs, and playing her organ for family and friends. She worked as a clerk in the English Sport Shop and H.S.Zinck Store, Chester. She is survived by sister, June Collier, Halifax; special niece and nephew, Sharon Houghton and Roger Bleasdale; many other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Douglas Little; son, Anthony Hansen; sisters, Sherley, Opal, and Doris; brothers, Harry and Elroy. No visitation by request. Funeral service in Saint John's Anglican Church, Chester Basin at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10, Rev. Tom Kerr officiating. Burial in New St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Borgal's Point Road. Family flowers only. Memorial donations to Saint John's Anglican Church, Shoreham Village Home for Special Care or a charity of your choice.
