Delmer E. Conrad 1995 Halifax Chronicle Herald Delmer E. Conrad, 75, Branch LaHave, died September 3, 1995, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Branch LaHave, he was a son of the late Lester H. and Bernice L.M. (Veinot) Conrad. He was very active in the forest industry of Lunenburg County. Surviving are daughters, Marilyn (Mrs. Bill Bell), Cookville; Kathryn Crossland, Coldbrook; Vivian (Mrs. Thomas Feindel); Sherry (Mrs. David Nodding), Branch LaHave; sister, Reta (Mrs. Norman Bolivar), Baker Settlement; brothers, Elmer, Lower Branch; Harold, Upper Branch; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Effie Marie Bolivar; son, David in infancy. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral 3 p.m. Wednesday in St. James Lutheran Church, Branch LaHave, Rev. Willis Ott officiating, assisted by Pastor Rolf Meindel. Burial in the church cemetery.
