Ada Ella Susanna Richardson 2000 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Friday, June 23, 2000. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Ada Ella Susanna Richardson, 82, 120 Tannery Road, Lunenburg, died June 21, 2000, in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Stonehurst, she was a daughter of the late Nathaniel and Ella (Mosher) MacDonald. She worked for 12 years as a nurses aid at Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. She was a member of Central United Church and a member of the Margaret R. Unit of the U.C.W. of the church. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 23, Lunenburg and a member of the Bluenose Senior Citizens Club. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are her companion, Russell Legge, Rhodes Corner; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Charles Decoursey; second husband, Stanley Richardson; brothers, Fred, Sidney, Ray, William; sisters, Gladys Sadie, three in infancy. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg, with visitation 2-4,7-9 p.m. today. Funeral service 2 p.m. Saturday in Central United Church, Lunenburg, Rev. Grace Caines-Corkum officiating. Burial in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg. In lieu of flowers, donations to Central United Church or Harbour View Haven.
