Pearl M. Himmelman 2007 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Pearl M. Himmelman, 92, Martin's Point, passed away Monday, March 12, 2007, in Harbour View Haven Nursing Home, Lunenburg. Born in Martin's Point, she was a daughter of the late Angus and Sophia (Sarty) Hiltz. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo Himmelman; her sisters, Elsie Barkhouse, Blanche Shupe, Flora Foote; brothers, Warren and Roland. She is survived by her son, Eric; grandchildren, Janine (Richard Roast), Christine (Jason Little), and Wade; several nieces and nephews. Pearl was a member of St. Mark's Anglican Church, Martin's Point and a member of St. Mark's Ladies Auxiliary. Visiting will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 15, in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 16, in St. Mark's Anglican Church, Martin's Point, Rev. Bonnie Baird officiating. Burial will be in Western Shore Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mark's Anglican Church or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
