Mildred Shirley Mullen 2001 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Tuesday, October 23, 2001. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Mildred Shirley Mullen, 72, Hamilton Manor, Yarmouth, passed away Friday, October 19, 2001, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born June 23, 1929, in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Louise (Devine) White. She was a cook at Zellers and an avid bingo player. Surviving are daughters, Shirley Lawrence (James), Barrie, Ontario; Joyce Mullen (Peter VanHooy), Waterdown, Ontario; Bess Mayor (Robert), Debbie Foster (Brian Book), both of Burlington, Ontario; Darlene Ringer (Wayne DeViller), Kimberley Enslow (Don), both of Yarmouth; Robin Dupuis (Ben), Norwood, Yarmouth County; son, Russell, Burlington, Ontario; brothers, George White, Annapolis Valley; Herb White, Dunnville, Ontario; Art White, Fred White, both of Cambridge, Ontario; sisters, Diane Villeneuve, Ottawa; Marge Ryerson, Sackville; Vera White, South Ohio; Bev Hanf, Brazil Lake; Lorraine Legault, Angus, Ontario; Helen Vickery, Rockville; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Russell Ernest Mullen; brothers, Earl, Bill, Stan. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, both in H.M. Huskilson's Memorial Chapel, Yarmouth, Rev. A.D. "Bill" Newell officiating. Interment will take place 11 a.m. Thursday in Norwood Cemetery. Family flowers only.
