Margaret Fraser, 97, Shoreham Village Home for Special Care, Chester and formerly of Jubilee Road, Halifax, died August 4, 2003, in the home. Born in Chester, she was a daughter of the late Sidney and Ida (Stanford) Bradbury. Margaret resided most of her life in Halifax and was a graduate of the Halifax Children's Hospital. She was a very active volunteer and a chairman of the Red Cross Volunteer Corps in Halifax. Margaret is survived by daughter, Jane (Fred) Unger, Aidrie, Alberta; sisters, Ada Publicover and Frances Mader, Shoreham Village Home for Special Care; niece, Diane Trider; nephew, Virgil B. Mader. She was predeceaased by her husband, Erle; son, William Alexander; brothers, John and Thomas. Visitation will be Thursday, August 7, from 1:30 p.m. until funeral service at 2:30 p.m. in Davis Funeral Home, Chester, Father Jim McCorriston officiating. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shoreham Village Home.
