Norma Louise Trask 2007 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: December 1, 2007. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Norma Louise Trask, 84, Yarmouth, passed away November 29, 2007, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born on January 10, 1923, in Chegoggin, she was a daughter of the late Clement and Evelyn Doane. Norma was a member of Zion United Baptist Church. She was a homemaker all her life. Norma is survived by daughters, Gail (Curtis) Kenney, Tantallon; Elizabeth (Paul) Gould, South Ohio; sons, Gordon (Ellen), Raynardton; George (Joan), Saskatoon; Jon, Ottawa; sister, Edna Cann, Ottawa; 12 grandchildren; one stepgrandson; 22 great-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Cecil; sons, Gary and Bruce and grandson, Patrick. Visitation will be Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and again Monday from 10 a.m. until the funeral time, in Sweeny's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Sweeny's Funeral Chapel with Rev. A.D. "Bill" Newell officiating. Burial will take place in Brooklyn Cemetery. Family flowers only.
