Raymond Lawrence Tidd 2003 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Monday, May 12, 2003. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Raymond Lawrence Tidd, 72, Meadowvale, died May 11, 2003, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Boxford, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late Clarence and Gladys (Robar) (Fogg) Tidd. Moving to Nova Scotia at a young age, he spent his younger years in Parkdale. He was employed with 14 Wing, Greenwood for 31 years. He was a member of Torbrook Baptist Church; Valley Lodge No. 153, and Parkdale-Maplewood Community Museum. Surviving are his wife, the former Marion Parker; son, Clarence (Dawn McDonald), Auburn; half-brothers, David Rafuse, Tulon, Manitoba; Lorraine Rafuse, Brooklyn, Annapolis County. He was predeceased by stepfathers, Laurie Welton and George Rafuse; daughter, Lynn; half-brother, Milne Fogg. Memorial service 2 p.m. Wednesday in Nictaux Baptist Church, Rev. Bill McLeod officiating. Interment in Nictaux Cemetery. Donations to Torbrook Baptist Church Building Fund.
