Michael Peter Corbett 2003 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Thursday, December 18, 2003. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Michael Peter Corbett, 54, Liverpool, died suddenly in an accident December 16, 2003. Born in Wolfville, he was the son of Janet (Forsythe) Dillman and the late Norman Corbett. He enjoyed landscaping, jogging, was an avid reader and pursued art in a variety of mediums. He had a strong sense of social justice, loved humanity and will always be remembered for his hospitality and sense of humour. He is survived by partner, Cindy Dalby, Liverpool; daughters, Michelle Corbett, Allison (Todd) Bennett; grandchildren, Elisha and Emily, all of Dartmouth. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, December 20, in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home Chapel, Dartmouth, Rev. John Porter officiating. Burial in Mount Hermon Cemetery. Donations may be made to Project Hope (which works through alternatives to violence to improve the physical and mental health of the children of Palestine and community at large).
