Smith, 78, Bangs Falls, Queens County, formerly of Harmony, died March 18, 2009, at home, where he resided with his nephew, Edward Uhlman and family for many years. A son of the late G. Edward and Sarah R. Minard, he is survived by brother, Grant (Bonnie); several nieces and nephews; stepbrother Carl (Elizabeth), Minard. He was predeceased by five brothers; three sisters; stepfather, Roy Minard; stepbrother, Avery Minard. Cremation is under the direction of Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool. Burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Diabetes Association or to S.H.A.I.D. Animal Shelter.
