Beverly Winnifred Hunt 2005 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Saturday, April 30, 2005. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Beverly Winnifred Hunt, 63, Queens Manor, Liverpool, formerly of Milton, died Friday, April 29, 2005, in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool. Born in Brooklyn, she was a daughter of the late Robert Hastings and Aletha (Baker) Whynot. Bev was a member of the W.M.S. Barrington and Liverpool, a member of Liverpool United Baptist Church and the church social committee. She was an active member of the Liverpool Lioness Club until 2004. She worked as a dishwasher at the Loyalist Inn, Shelburne and the Seawinds Restaurant, Barrington Passage, for a number of years. She was a volunteer canvasser for a number of organizations over the years including the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia and Multiple Sclerosis Society. She is survived by her husband, John; sons, Christopher (Leona) and Dwayne (Cathy), both of Barrington Passage; grandchildren, Ashley, Sara, Caelan, Theo, and Kevin; brothers, Walter (Janet), London, Ontario; and Terry (Linda), Amherstburg, Ontrario. Visitation will be Sunday, May 1, from 2- 4 p.m. in Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool. Funeral service will be Monday, May 2, at 11 a.m. in Liverpool United Baptist Church, Rev. Greg Denton officiating. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Epilepsy Association of Nova Scotia or any charity.
