Rose Marie Whynot 1984 Halifax Chronicle Herald North River- Rose Marie Whynot, North River, passed away at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, on January 29, 1984, after a truck accident. Born at Bridgewater, she was the beloved daughter of Basil Whynot, North River and the late Marie (Inness) Whynot. She was 23 years of age. She is survived by her common-law husband, Otis Lenihan; one daughter, Alissa; her father, Basil; a sister, Janet (Mrs. Joseph Nowe), New Germany; three brothers, Gregory, Springfield; David and Basil Jr., at home. The funeral service was held at the North River Lutheran Church, North River at 4:30 p.m. on January 31, 1984, with Rev. Gustafson officiating. Interment was in the Lutheran Church Cemetery.
