Myrtle Marion Corkum 2005 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Thursday, June 7, 2005. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Myrtle Marion Corkum, 87, Shoreham Village, Chester, formerly of Pleasantville, passed away June 3, 2005, in Shoreham Village. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late St.Clair and Beatrice (Wentzell) Crowell. She is survived by daughters, Shirley (Mark) Johansen, Upper LaHave; Norma (Trevor) Spring, Pleasantville; grandchildren, Stacie, Jill (Mike), Alaina (Brian), Ben, Brianna, Cody; great-grandson, Sam; brother, Robert (Millie) Crowell, Martin's River; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond; sisters, Audrey Harlow, Polly Crowell, Peggy Kenny; brothers, Jack, William, Walter. There will be no visitation in the funeral home by request. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. today in Sweeny's Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater, Rev. Ivan Norton officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasantville Cemetery. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Wing of Shoreham Village, Chester.
