Evelyn Marjorie Hynick 2003 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Thursday, December 18, 2003. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Evelyn Marjorie Hynick, 92, Lunenburg, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2003, in Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of Adoram and Cora (Joudrey) Crouse. Evelyn worked as a clerk at Stedman's and the Metropolitian Store in Lunenburg for a number of years. She was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Lunenburg and a former member of the Ladies Aid. Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Marie and her husband, Gordon Schnare, Armstrong, British Columbia; sister Rita Cook, Rhodes Corner; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Ainley; daughter, Shirley Culleton; brother, Curtis; sisters, Lillian, Joyce, and Jean; great-granddaughter, Carrie. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg, where memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg or St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Lunenburg.
