Francis James Robinson 2003 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Friday, June 20, 2003. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Francis James Robinson, 47, Yarmouth Reserve, died June 19, 2003, in Yarmouth. Born in Oshawa, January 15, 1956, he was a son of Louis Bernard and Viola Marie (Cope) Robinson. He was an industrial marine rigger and a fisherman. He was an active member of Acadia First Nation. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, family activities and billiards. Besides his parents, he is survived by daughters, Angela Joan Colgan, Yarmouth; Ashley Marie Paul, Membertou, Sydney; Brooke Rona Robinson, Truro; 13 nieces and nephews; brother, Murray John Robinson, Yarmouth Reserve; sisters, Theresa Tromley, British Columbia; Chief Deborah Robinson, Yarmouth Reserve; Rose Purdy, Yarmouth; Cathy Berliner, Truro; Melanie Blair, Truro; two grandchildren. He was predeceased by his infant sister, Susie May. The remains are resting in Sweeny's Funeral Home, with visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday, with prayers 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, June 23, in St. Ambrose Cathdral, Yarmouth, Father Gerald LeBlanc officiating. Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth. Memorial donations to a charity of choice.
