Winnifred E. Wright 1932 Dalhousie East- On Friday, May 27th., Winnifred E. , wife of Clifton E. Wright, passed away after an illness of four years, borne with Christian grace and patience. She leaves a husband; two daughters, Eris Roberta and Phyllis Gertude; and one son, Merlyn Rathburn; her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Herman S. Taylor; and one brother, Maurice, in the immediate family, and many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing at the age of 32 years. She was the organist at the Baptist Church here for years and also a member of the church. She was tenderly cared for during her illness and a host of friends, by service, cards and flowers, did all they could to alleviate her suffering. The funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. G.A. Hubley. At the home, the hymn, "Rock of Ages", thence to the little cemetery where she was laid to rest beneath the spreading pine tree, beside the infant son, Paul, who passed away about six years ago. The music at the church was conducted by the combined choirs of Falkland Ridge and Springfield who rendered favourite hymns, "It is Well with My Soul," "Some Day the Silver Cord will Break," and her request number, "My Saviour First of All." The church could not seat all the friends gathered from far and near and the beautiful array of flowers gave silent testimony of the place she held in the hearts of many. She will be sadly missed in the church and community but most of all, in the home. Much loving sympathy is extended to the husband, the children, so young in years, and all relatives. The pall-bearers were Willard Brown, Earle Aalders, Bertram Marshall, Frank Sproule, Doran Crouse, and Archie Lowe.
