Albert Herbert Hiltz 2005 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Friday, May 6, 2005. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Albert Herbert Hiltz, 83, Upper Clements, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2005, in Annapolis Community Health Centre. Born in Martin's Point, he was a son of the late Howard and Mae (Eisener) Hiltz. Albert was a veteran of the Second World War and was employed for 30 years as a firefighter at CFB Cornwallis. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Clementsport. He was an avid gardener and loved the outdorrs. He is survived by his wife, Jean (McGill) Hiltz and they were the love of each others lives for over 60 years; sons, Michael, Halifax; Donald (Laura), Mississauga; Derick, Bowmanville, Ontario; sisters, Edna, Halifax; Doris, Port Colbourne, Ontario; brother, Aubrey, Martin's Point; two grandchildren. He was predeceased by daughter, Heather. A Legion service will be held 7 p.m Monday in Kaulback Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Edward's Anglican Church, Clementsport, with Rev. Gordon Neish officiating. Interment will be in Old St. Edward's Cemetery, Clementsport. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be sent to Annapolis Community Health Centre or a charity of choice.
