Dora Thorne Frail 2003 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Saturday, August 30, 2003. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Dora Thorne Frail, 82, Westfield, passed away Friday, August 29, 2003, in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool. Born in Westfield, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Ide (Mansfield) Frail. She was an avid bingo player, loved to read, and enjoyed her grandchildren dearly. She is survived by daughters, Cora (Mrs. Lorraine Lewis), Pleasant River; Peggy (Mrs. Calvin Frail), Ilene (Mrs. Randall Freeman), both of Westfield; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Malcolm; infant son, Melbourne; sister, Vernetta; brothers, Robert, Harry, John, Vincent. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. today in Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside service will be held Sunday, August 31, in Hillcrest Cemetery, Westfield at 2 p.m., Rev. Marilyn Rose officiating. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Hillcrest Cemetery, Westfield or local charity of choice.
