    3. DR. JAMES WALKER LEWIS The Chronicle Herald, 1979. River John - Dr. James Walker LEWIS, 54, of River John, died Wednesday in Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche. Born in Armagh, Northern Ireland, he was a son of the late James Victor and Jane (WALKER) LEWIS. He was educated at the Portora Royal School, Enniskillen County, Fermanagh, Ireland. He received his medical degree from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. He served in the Second World War as a member of the Royal Canadian Medical Corps. He practised medicine in England before coming to River John in 1963. He was a member of St. George Presbyterian Church, River John and a member of Pictou County Kennel Club and the Canadian Bloodhound Club. Surviving are his wife, the former Sybil Vera PATTISON; two sons, Walter Patrick, Edmonton; Noel James, Halifax. The body is at Coulter's Funeral Home, Tatamagouche. Funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Presbyterian Church, River John, Rev. John FRASER officiating. Burial will be in River John cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital.
