William H. Tutty 2001 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Gwen Christie William H. Tutty, 65, Liverpool, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2001, in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late William H. and Helen (Sabean) Tutty. Bill was a former aircraft technician for Fairy Aviation in Eastern Passage. He retired from Bowater Mersey Paper Company Limited where he worked in the steam department. Bill was a member of Pilgrim United Church, Brooklyn. He had a love for the water and enjoyed ocean sailing, fishing, duck hunting, country music, and bluegrass festivals. Bill was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Left with wonderful memories are his wife, Joan (Fralic); daughter, Joanne (Alan) Clory, Halifax; son, William Jr., Vancouver; grandsons, Trenton and William; sisters, Margaret Purves, Englishtown; Gwen (Arnold) Sarty, Bridgewater. He was predeceased by his brothers, Brenton and Briar. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Chandlers' Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Funeral service 2 p.m. Saturday, October 6, in Pilgrim United Church, Brooklyn, Rev. Karen Lynch officiating. Burial in Seaside Cemetery, Brooklyn. Family flowers only.
