Marie Mary Montgomery 2002 Halifax Chronicle Herald Marie Mary Montgomery, 57, Mill Village, died December 28, 2002, in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool. Born in Caledonia, she was a daughter of the late Horace McBride and Mae Ward (Carver). She was a devoted mother and housewife all her life who enjoyed reading and crocheting. She was a member of the Queens County Ground Search and Rescue and an avid member of the C.B. Club. She is survived by her husband, Glenn DeLong; sons, Laurie DeLong, Mill Village; Troy DeLong, Milton; Michael (Margaret) Atkins, Bridgewater; Stephen (Joan) Montgomery, Liverpool; John (Wanda) Montgomery, Milton; five grandchildren; sister, Florence (Robert) Douglas, Coldbrook; brothers, John (Wendy) Seldon , Basil (Catherine) Carver, Nelson Seldon and Fred (Marie) McBride. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool. A funeral service will take place 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 31, in St. Gregory's Catholic Church, Liverpool, Father Brian Murphy officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
