Clare Augustus Zinck 2003 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Clare Augustus Zinck, 84, High Crest Nursing Home, Sherbrooke, formerly of Marie Joseph, Guysborough County, died Sunday, December 28, 2003, in High Crest Nursing Home. Born February 11, 1919, in Marie Joseph, he was a son of the late Ralph and Margaret Belle (Hartling) Zinck. He served with the armed services during the Second World War. He worked for many years with Acadian Lines Bus Company in Halifax. He owned and operated Zinck's Bus Company until his retirement. He was a lifelong member of St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Marie Joseph and was a warden of the church for many years. He is survived by brothers, Aldon, Watt Section; Laurie, Marie Joseph; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Murray, Stanley, and Roy. Cremation has taken place. No visitation or service by request. A private committal service will take place at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Ecum Secum Funeral Home. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to St. Matthew's Church.
