UNKNOWN PAPER - IRA JAMES CAVANAUGH 1973. Ira James CAVANAUGH, 59, died at the Colchester Hospital today. Born at Valley he was a son of Mrs. HENRY CAVANAUGH of North River and the late Henry CAVANAUGH. He was predeceased by his first wife Ivy ETTINGER, one son Allison and a brother MUIR. Mr. CAVANAUGH is survived by his wife, the former Edith HANHAM; two sons James and Bernard, both in British Columbia; six daughters: Olive (Mrs. James KING) of St. Joe's Island, Ont.; Linda (Mrs. David CLARK) of Stewiacke; Judy (Mrs. Lawrence LYNDS) of Wentworth; Verda (Mrs. Fred PRIEST) of Belmont; Bonnie (Mrs. Leonard DeCOSTE) of Masstown; Dianne of Truro; two step-daughters, Shirley (Mrs. Albert JOHNSON) of Truro and Sandra (Mrs. John CHISHOLM) of Port Hawkesbury; one step-son Richard of British Columbia; three sisters: Jean at home; Gladys (Mrs. Avery McNUTT) of Debert; five brothers; Willis, Lloyd, and Harry, all of Onslow; Earl of Debert and Ernest of North River; 20 grandchildren. The body is resting at the Mattatall Funeral Home where funeral arrangements are incomplete.
