OBIT # 9453 - UNKNOWN PAPER - 8 February 1947 Greenwood - Feb 8 - Aubrey Archibald received word of the sudden death yesterday of his brother Dr. Bryan Archibald, youngest son of the late Mr and Mrs David Archibald of Greenwood. The death occurred at his home at Bedford Hillo, New York, where he had been a successful physician for a number of years. He was born here in Greenwood and after attending school here he studied at Dalhousie Medical School from which he graduated in 1921. From there he went to Oklahoma, USA, where he practised for the Rockefeller Institute for a few years then moved to the place where he passed away. Besides his wife Marie, an American girl, and a daughter Mary, he is survived by 2 brothers, Aubrey at the old home, Edward in South America, and 2 sisters, Irene (Mrs Fred McIntosh) of Jedburgh, Saskatchewan, and Gertrude (Mrs Eugene Peachey) of Briercrest, Saskatchewan.
