Alice M. Oickle 2007 Halifax Chronicle Herald Alice M. Oickle, 67, Liverpool, passed away at home on March 6, 2007, after a very long illness. Born in Liverpool, she was the daughter of the late Stanley "Hank" and Dorothy (Drew) Roy. Alice loved to read, watch TV, and write Santa Claus letters at Christmas time to the children who she loved very much. She will be sadly missed and in our hearts forever. Surviving are daughter, Mary Ann (Scott) Rhyno, Brooklyn; son, Billy Jr. (Wanda), at home; grandsons, Jonathan and Matthew Rhyno, who she loved very much; brothers, Donnie (Beaty) and Victor (Betty) both of Lockeport; special sister-in-law, Dottie Fredericks; a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Billy. Visitation will be Friday, March 9, from 7-9 p.m. and funeral service will be Saturday, March 10, at 11 a.m., both in Chandlers' Funeral Chapel, Liverpool, Rev. Arthur Nash officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Liverpool. No flowers by request. Donations made to the family would be greatly appreciated.
