Sperry Edward Levy 2003 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Friday, February 14, 2003. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Sperry Edward Levy, 75, Kale's Korner, Pomquet, Antigonish County, formerly of Coalburn, Pictou County, passed away suddenly and peacefully at his home on February 12, 2003. Born in New Ross, he was a son of the late Foreman and Margurite( Walker) Levy. Sperry was a resident of Pomquet for the past three years and prior to that resided in Coalburn for a number of years. He was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. In his early years he was employed with Warren Maritimes Paving Company. Sperry received great joy from fishing and dancing. Surviving are daughters, Kathy (Peter) Vanedam, Pomquet; Heather(Richard) Boussard, Monastery; son, Kenneth (Evelyn) Levy, London, Ontario; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Eileen (Jackie) Bowles, New Glasgow; Robert (Juanita) Koszkulics, Donnie (Margie) Koszkulics, George (Liz) Koszkulics; sisters, Anne Mosher, Three Mile Plains; Ina (Bernie) Smith, Greewich, Kings County; brothers, Foster (Shirley), Aylesford; Carroll (Ella Jean), Vaughan; Roy (Amelda) and Vernon (Bonnie), both of New Ross; his former wife,Theresa Levy, Monastery. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Alice Clark (Koszkulics) Levy; sister, Helen; brothers, Allan, Clyde, and Cecil. His remains will rest in H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow, with visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. Gregory's Roman Catholic Church, Father Sydney Mifflen officiating. Burial will be in Church Brook Cemetery, Little Harbour. Donations in memory of Sperry may be made to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
