Born in Dalhousie, Kings County, he was a son of Alma (Veinot) Bezanson, Wilmot and the late Ralph Bezanson. Surviving are his wife, the former Eileen Reid; daughter, Brenda (Allan) Russell, Kingston; son, Ivan (Patricia), Greenwood; sisters, Amy (Paul) Ewing, Aylesford; Pearl Bezanson, Kingston; Doris Arenburg, Kingston; brothers, Lawson (Mary), Halifax; Alfred, Wilmot; Vance (Janet), Greenwood; Joseph, Middleton; five grandchildren.
