Born in Shelburne, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Lilla (Mosher) Oikle. She was a member and secretary of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 98, Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are son, Kevin (Melody), Morden; grandchildren, Crystal and Brandon; special friends, Melody's mother, Marion Rigby, Ward Road; Dianne Hamilton, Halifax; sister Elsie Nickerson, Shelburne; brother, Lee Oikle, Sandy Point; 13 immediate nieces and nephews. She was predceased by her husband, Clark; brother, Russell. Visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Thursday and Friday, funeral service 2 p.m. Saturday, both in Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton, Rev. Charles Bull officiating. Interment in St. Mary's Anglican Cemetery, Auburn. Donations to Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 98, Kingston.
