Cecil Glendon Perry 2003 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Wednesday, June 4, 2003. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Cecil Glendon Perry, 83, lifelong resident of Ingomar, died Monday, June 2, 2003, in Roseway Hospital, Sandy Point. Born on Cape Negro Island, he was a son of the late Harry and Nellie (Perry) Perry. He was a member of Port Clyde Oddfellows Lodge No. 98, past president of the Port Saxon Leisure Club and a member and elder of Bethany United Church for many years. He was a retired member of the ingomar Roseway Fire Department. He is survived by sons, Roger (Barbara), Dartmouth; Glen (Debbie), Shelburne; brother, Rodney (Blanche), Ingomar; sisters, Bertha (Owen) Ritcey, Lunenburg; Marjorie Dresser, Ingomar; Ruby (Chesley), Matheson, Bridgewater; grandchildren, Jennifer, Otawa; Adam, Halifax; Glenda, Calgary; Holly, Truro; Jamie, Shelburne; great-granddaughter, Genvieve DeYoung, Antigonish. He is also survived by his companion, Vivian Smith. He was predeceased by his wife, Anita Mae (Ringer); son, Grant; brother, Keith; sisters, Marion Swaine and Doris Goulden. Visiting today 7-9 p.m. with funeral service 2 p.m. Thursday, both in H. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Barrington, Rev. Cindy Dunnet officiating. Burial will be in Ingomar Cemetery. Family flowers only.
