Born in 1917, she passed away peacefully August 11, 2004, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. She had been a resident of Tidal View Manor since 1999. Born in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late Remi and Celina (LeBlanc) Doucette. She worked at Dominion Textiles for a number of years. She is survived by daughter, Marie (Mrs. Philip Munroe), Moncton; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred; brothers, Wallace, Donald, and Albert; sister, Mildred. No visitation. Memorial service will be held Monday, August 16, at 11 a.m. in Notre Dame Church, Bond Street, Yarmouth, Father John McPherson officiating. Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tidal View Manor. Arrangements entrusted to H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Yarmouth.
