Rev. Dr. Ralph H. Lowe 2009 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Rev. Dr. Ralph H. Lowe, 90, Martin's Point, died September 2, 2009, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Rev. Lowe was born in Blockhouse, a son of the late Peter and Cora (Levy) Lowe. He began preaching at the early age of 18 on the streets and the hillside and later served as a Pentecostal minister in many charges in Nova Scotia. Rev. Lowe is survived by his second wife, Essie (Dash); daughters, Joyce (William) Sarty, Western Shore; Donna (Evan) Morgan, Lower Sackville; son, Donald (Elaine) Lowe, Martin's Point; stepdaughters, Jane (Russell) Ringer, Osborne; Sandy (Troy) Coldwell, Gaspereau; stepsons, Terry (Vivian) Morash, Sable River; Peter (Rosa) Morash, Lockeport; Elliott (Kim) Morash, Sable River; Nelson (Donna) Morash, West Head; sister, Beulah Bone, LaHave; brother, Manuel (Violet) Lowe, Havelock, Ontario; and foster brother, Fraser (Donna) Hebb, Leminster; mnay grandchildren and great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. Rev. Lowe was predeceased by his first wife, Velma; and granddaughter, Susan. Family and friends may visit Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Davis Funeral Home, Chester. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday in Aenon Baptist Church, Chester Basin with Rev. Jack Hooper, Rev. Andrew Shupe, and Rev. Gary Dunham officiating. Burial to follow in the Pentecostal Cemetery, Western Shore. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Rev. Lowe may be made to The Fellowship of Christians, "Haiti Orphanage Project."
