Amy Blanche Wilkie 2006 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Amy Blanche Wilkie, 94, Rhodes Corner, passed away October 10, 2006, in Harbour View Haven, Lunenburg. Born in Upper LaHave, she was a daughter of the late Sydney and Lucretia (Dares) Bolivar. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Rhodes Corner and a former member of the Ladies Aid. Surviving are her sons, Ronald (Evelyn), Terrence (Loreen), both of Rhodes Corner; Wallace (Yvonne), Blockhouse; sisters, Mildred Eisenhauer, Hammonds Plains; Mae (Laurence) Wentzell, Auburndale; Betty Conrad, Rhodes Corner; brother, Ossie, New Brunswick; one grandson; six granddaughters; 11 great-grandchildren; two great great-granddaughters; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Oswald; sister, Fern; brothers, Charles, Victor, and Earl, Leroy in infancy. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Rhodes Corner, Rev. Heather Spencer officiating. Burial in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Upper LaHave. Family flowers only.
