Born in Liverpool, he was a son of Doreen (Freeman) Pierce, Lockeport and the late Ernest Pierce. He was well-respected and successful in the seafood industry for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman and family man, enjoyed travel, camping, reading, the ocean, and classic cars. He is survived by his wife, Anne (Williams); sons, Adrian(Kelly) Pierce, Shelburne; Trevor (Tracy) Pierce, Lockeport; grandchildren, Isaiah, Emma, and Nicholas; brother, Ondon (Scotty) Pierce, Lockeport; sisters, Connie (Bill) Dolliver, Shelburne; Theresa Pierce, Summerville; Marcia (Craig) Harding, Liverpool. Cremation has taken place. No visitation or flowers by his request. Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, in Lockeport Regional High School gymnasium, the Rev. John Hammond officiating. Private interment at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Lockeport Volunteer Fire Department First Responders Unit or charity of choice. Arrangements are under the direction of H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home.
