Mrs. Jack Nash 1965 Bridgewater Bulletin (Hand written death date: August 2, 1965. The community was saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs. Jack Nash (Louise) which took place at her home on Monday evening. Mrs. Nash was seventy years old. Born in Dalhousie East, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Maria (Oickle) Fancy. Mrs. Nash was married three times. >From her first marriage to Norman Lowe, there are two chidlren, Hilda (Mrs. Rex MacKaY) of Pinehurst and Emmerson of Dalhousie East. Her second husband was Obediah Varner of New Germany. Five daughters are Gladys (Mrs. Max Tipert); Helen (Mrs. Clifton Sleep); Lucy (Mrs. A.L. Cunningham); Hazel (Mrs. Merlyn Wright); Muriel (Mrs. Allison Hicks), of Westphal; and one son, Robert, of New Germany; also fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are husband, Jack Nash; one sister, Alma (Mrs. Fred Oickle) of Dalhousie East; and one brother, Guy Fancy of Dalhousie East. The funeral service was conducted at the New Germany Anglican Church on Wednesday morning with Rev. E.B. Doherty officiating. Interment was in Lakeside Cemetery.
