James Stephen Nestor 2001 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Tuesday, October 30, 2001. >From the collection of Gwen Christie James Stephen Nestor, 72, Wellington, Yarmouth County, died October 28, 2001, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Danvers, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late James and Attilla (Porter) Nestor. He worked at O.C. Frost & Son boat shop in Port Maitland for 33 years and previous to that was a farmer. He is the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are his wife, the former Fay Frost; daughter, Valerie (Earl) d'Entremont, Hebron; son, Gregory, Chegoggin; four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his stepfather, John McCormack. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today, memorial service 1 p.m. Wednesday, both in Sweeny's Funeral Chapel, Yarmouth, Rev. Gary Churchill officiating. Interment will take place in Hillside Cemetery, South Ohio. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of choice.
