Mary Marguerite Russell 2007 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Mary Marguerite Russell, 82, of Cherryfield, Lunenburg County, passed away February 8, 2007, peacefully at home. Born May 21, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Freda (Whynot) Gabriel. She was a stay-at-home mom who lovingly cared for all her children and grandchildren. Mary is survived by her husband of 59 years, Roderick Otis; daughters, Lynda Baiden, Heather (Gregory) Snair, and Sheila (Thomas) Hillier; son, Bradford (Andrea) Gabriel; brother, Cornelius Gabriel; grandchildren, Natalie, Craig, Jennifer, Shawna, Lisa, Denise, and David; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Noah, and Matthew. She is predeceased by brothers, Patrick and Robert Gabriel. No visitation by request. There will be a graveside service announced at a later date in Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice. Family flowers only.
