Pearl Norma Andrews 2000 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Tuesday, June 6, 2000. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Pearl Norma Andrews, 82, Mushaboom, Halifax County, died June 4, 2000, in Duncan MacMillan Nursing Home, Sheet Harbour. Born in Mushaboom, she was a daughter of the late Welsley and Mary (Westhaver) Boutilier. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Mushaboom, enjoyed knitting, was an avid card player and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her sons, John (Jackie), Sheet Harbour; James, Mushaboom; daughters, Joyce Boutilier, Mushaboom; Pauline Cooper, Sheet Harbour; Hilda "Mary" Hilchie Dartmouth; Barbara Cameron, Enfield; Jane Coolen, Fox Point; sister, Alice Westhaver, Northwood Manor, Halifax; 23 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, James Edward; son, John William; brothers, Eric, Elver, Earl, Gerald; sisters, Melvina, Jeanette, Emma; three great-grandchildren. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today; prayers 7 p.m. today, both in D.S. Crowell and Son Funeral Home, Sheet Harbour. Funeral 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's Anglican Church, Mushaboom, Rev. Tom Kerr and Rev. Michael Mugford officiating. Burial in the new church cemetery. Donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Nova Scotia Division or Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
