Mary Jane Whynot 2007 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Mary Jane Whynot, 52, Pleasantfield, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2007, at home. Born in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Hastings and Jessie (Cunningham) Whynot. Mary Jane was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved wildlife, especially birds, and gardening. She is survived by her husband, Paul; daughter, Sherri (Brian Grant), Brooklyn; son, David, Milton; grandchildren, Riley, Olivia, and Aidan; sisters, Rose (Charles) Ingram, Liverpool; Katherine (Philip) MacLeod, Milton; Susan Oickle, Liverpool; brothers, Ted (Carol), Liverpool and Terry (Margaret), Milton. She was predeceased by infant daughter, Linda Rose; infant son, Jeff; and brother, Cyril. Visitation will be Sunday, February 4, from 7-9 p.m. in Chandlers' Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Funeral service will be Monday, February 5, at 11 a.m. in Trinity Anglican Church, Liverpool, Rev. Arthur Nash officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Liverpool. Flowers from the immediate family only. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, IWK Health Centre Foundation, Halifax or a charity of choice.
