William Raymond Whynott 2007 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte William Raymond Whynott, 98, Chester, formerly of Hebb's Cross, passed away January 31, 2007, in Shoreham Village, Chester. Born in Middlewood, he was a son of the late Alexander and Elizabeth (Fancy) Whynott. Surviving are his daughter, Jane (David) Hatt, Hebb's Cross; sister, Thelma (Douglas) Wamboldt, Middlewood; grandchildren, Neil (Wendy) Dean (Shelley), Lori (Spencer); great-grandson, Nicholas; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Geraldine Wamback; sisters, Maude and Ida; brothers, Lloyd and Russell in infancy; Stanford, Herbert, Ferman, and Frank. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, both in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, Rev. Laurence Mawhinney officiating. Burial in Ascension Lutheran Cemetery, Conquerall Mills. Family flowers only.
