Lelia Beatrice Taylor 2000 Halifax Chronicle Herald Lelia Beatrice Taylor, 87, Middleton, died November 1, 2000, in Berwick. Born in Falkland Ridge, she was a daughter of the late Milford and Alice (Randall) Stoddart. She was a member of Kingston United Baptist Church since 1942, former teacher in Kings County and Eastern Annapolic County, former Evangeline Rebekah Lodge member. She and her husband spent 29 winters in Florida. She was a former Sunday School teacher. Surviving are her husband, Ralph, of 66 years; daughter, Bernice (Mrs. Kenneth MacLean), Margaretsville; son, Donald, Welton's Corner; sisters, Ella Armstrong, Kingston; Pauline Ward, Upper Granville; brother, Glenn, Harmony; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Harold and Maurice and an infant brother; grandson, Derrill. Visiting will be 1-2 p.m. Saturday and funeral service 2 p.m. Saturday, both in Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton, Pastors Derek and Robin McCoombs and Rev. Dr. Byron Fenwick officiating. Burial in North Kingston Cemetery, Kingston. Family flowers only.
