Born on November 19, 1968, in Shelburne, he was a son of Phillip and Elaine (Smith) Jones, Newellton. Troy enjoyed bodybuilding, trouting, coaching ball, watching movies, and attending church with his family. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan. He is survived by his wife, the former Patricia Greenwood; son, Alexander, Wood's Harbour; daughter, Blair,Wood's Harbour; stepson, Jarrett Witzaney, Calgary; stepdaughter, Meghan Witzaney, Halifax; brothers, Derek, P.J. (Nancy), Ralph (Julie), Newellton; sisters, Marie (Melvin) Blauvelt, Yarmouth; Melody (Randy) Francis, Port LaTour. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Sunday in H. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Barrington. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday in H. Huskilson's Memorial Chapel, Barrington, Rev. Brad Pass officiating. Interment will be at a later date. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Yarmouth Mental Health Centre.
