Sterling Charles Bent 2005 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Tuesday, May 10, 2005. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Sterling Charles "Ben" Bent, 79, Surf Lodge Home,Lockeport, formerly of Port Clyde, died May 6, 2005, in Surf Lodge Home. Ben was born in Liverpool. He was a resident at Queens County Home in Caledonia in his early years. He moved to Port Clyde and boarded at the home of Edith Ryer in the mid 50's and moved to the Surf Lodge in 2002. Visitation was 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday in H. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Barrington. Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in H. Huskilson's Memorial chapel, Barrington, Pastor Gordon Simons officiaitng. Burial will be in Port Clyde Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Surf Lodge Community Care Centre or Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
